ABOUT

Borealis has grown out of a lifelong passion for adventures in the mountains, which have taken me from mountain crags and sea cliffs of the UK, to big granite cliffs in the US, alpine north faces, ski expeditions in Greenland, and much more. 

 

My guiding, and the expeditions I offer, represent my vision of what it is to spend time in the mountains and wild places of the world. ​

 

I focus around your aims and aspirations, in a supportive and constructive environment, and am always keen to ensure that the day isn't just about achieving the objective, whatever that may be, but also learning something along the way, be that sharing decision-making, discussing thought processes or technical tips for becoming slicker. This collaborative approach is essential in building a strong team.

 

I hope that our time in the mountains together gives you the opportunity to not only push your boundaries a little further, or to expand your horizons, but helps in your development as a climber, mountaineer or skier as you progress in your journey.
